“Jamie Sharps' film Half Dead has enthralled and delighted audiences at two Somewhat North of Boston (SNOB) events. It was a pleasure to showcase such fine talent from New Hampshire. We look forward to his new work with great anticipation.”

February 6, 2012: New Project! Haunted New England
Another project idea from my award winning Journalist and photographer Mom Leigh Sharps is also in the works: "Haunted New England". A half hour show about Ghost stories and strange happenings in New England!!
Half Dead 2 production is set to begin in May and I've been busy writing the script. It's going to be my biggest action movie to date. I'm trying to line up the original cast from Half Dead so everyone will see a lot of familiar faces from my past films like Dick Miller, Alan Gilman, Ryan Macdonald, and the king of bad guys- Reggie Provencher (Mean Uncle Roo of Tucker's Crossing fame)!!! Anyone interested in acting and or production work on this film can reach me @ info@sharpsfilms.com.
I just purchased a new Panasonic AF100 and putting it through some rigorous tests to see if it will survive Half Dead 2, Fully Dead. So far I love it and am purchasing a new Olympus 12-50mm lens for it soon.
Thanks everyone for your support and happy shooting!

The Bigfoot Diaries and my interview has been airing on Channel 20 now for three weeks! Now if only I could get a distribution deal.

The Big Foot Diaries is Released
I just recently had the first screening of The Bigfoot Diaries at Walter's Basin in Holderness, NH where the film was shot. The place was jam packed with cast members, friends, and family and was a complete success. I was a bit nervous to see what the reaction would be with my first mockumentary/comedy but the nerves fizzled away as the audience laughed throughout the entire 90 minute film and congratulated me when it was over.
The next screening will be at The Red River Theatre in Concord, NH sometime near the end of Aug. or Sept. Thank you all for showing up and supporting your local filmmaker!!!
The Big Foot Diaries DVD is now available for purchase from this site for $15, including shipping. Please visit The Big Foot Diaries page for more information

The Bigfoot Diaries
Since May of 2008 to the present, Jamie has been working on his new film, a docu–spoof comedy about the mythical, hairy beast called Sasquatch or Bigfoot. Cast members include Dick Miller and Al Gilman from Tucker's Crossing and Ryan Macdonald of Half Dead fame. Mandy Boyne who plays a Bigfoot Research Biologist is thrilled to work with the crew and has been doing a great job acting in her first Independent film.
With all the buzz about the recent Georgia Bigfoot Hoax, Jamie could not believe it was all happening while we were shooting the film. “My first thought was wow, what if this Bigfoot body is real? Of course a few days later everyone found out it was an elaborate hoax to make a quick buck, but all the hoopla about Sasquatch has definitely helped to promote my little movie and has gotten everyone talking about it! What luck!”
Due to all the interest, Jamie decided to write the Georgia Bigfoot Hoax story into the movie. Talk about good timing...
Tucker's Crosing Wins!
I wanted to let everyone know my film Tucker's Crossing won an award for best horror film at the three day long SNOB film festival in Concord, NH. I enjoyed watching other talented filmmakers work and the SNOB crew went above and beyond the call of duty to put together such a great festival. The screening was intense as the crowd went
into a frenzy due to the over the top death scenes and campy humor throughout. I enjoyed talking to the crowd with an in depth Q and A after the film too.
Thank you everyone involved in this project. We did it! We freakin' won!
